18k € budget

Hi!

I've a cousin with that budget and he'd like to buy a good secondhand car.
He loves the S2,but since the money comes from my uncle.... The car has to be newer or at least not squared like our cars.... ( yep,many or most the people thinks our cars are old,wreck and squared)

Also the avants are deleted.... Because he's 21.

He also likes many extras inside and it has to be practical and comfortable.

And the most.important.... He wants cars with +200hp

I told him about the S4 b5.... And use the budget for build a new forged engine,RS4 turbos,new brakes,suspensión,new paint.....

What can be done with that budget over those cars?

Also any advise about other car chances?

I was going to say RS4, would be my choice if i had that money. Being 21 i would have thought his options are limited from an insurance point of view?

get a yellow seat Ibiza 1.4s. should be loads of them about over there.

What ever "new and rounded" car he will get for 18k euros...after 2 years and 10k spent for maintainace...he would wish to take an s2 for 3k...spend another 5 for looks and 400 hp...and the rest of 10000.....enjoy the life.

I don't think spending money on a S4 B5 is worth the hassle when the RS4 is more or less ready with alot of parts. But you said he didn't want a avant the option is a S4 then.

in Spain the insurances are different... it can be driven by my cousin and with a really cheap insurance...because is written to my uncle

I agree, Avants (Estates) done up tastefully look sweet and also practical, Im prefering them to Coupe's now (and no not just Audi Coupe vs Avant debate lol )
